High school senior passionate about environmental health, microplastics research, and community-driven change.

Emily Moon is a violinist, researcher, and community advocate who founded Harmony With U to bring music education to children living in homeless shelters. Her work with shelter families led her to investigate environmental health risks, turning that concern into microplastics research, first-author scholarship, and scientific presentations. Rather than stopping at research, Emily brought her findings into the public sphere, advocating before local government and working with county officials to translate science into protections for vulnerable children.
