As I prepare for the next chapter of my academic journey, I’ve spent time reflecting on how my various interests—from molecular biology to student advocacy—intertwine. While they may seem disparate, they are all driven by a singular desire to understand complex systems and improve them. I am a builder and a researcher at heart.
An Interdisciplinary Future
I don't believe in choosing between the sciences and the humanities. Instead, I want to explore the ethical implications of emerging biotechnologies and the policy frameworks that govern them. The challenges of the 21st century require thinkers who can speak multiple academic 'languages' and synthesize diverse viewpoints.
The Path Ahead
This portfolio is a snapshot of my growth so far, but it is also a roadmap for what is to come. I am eager to join a university community where I can continue to ask difficult questions and collaborate on meaningful solutions. My goal is to remain a lifelong learner who uses knowledge as a catalyst for change.
